How you can help
We welcome volunteers to:

Help with hands-on building and repair projects: drywall, ceiling repairs, painting, furniture assembly, fencing, and other sanctuary improvements.

Help design and paint murals and bring creativity into the sanctuary space.

Help with daily cat care: feeding, cleaning, medications, laundry, and maintaining calm, safe spaces

Spend quiet time socializing shy and semi-feral cats and helping them build trust

Assist with transport for rescues, veterinary appointments, and supply pickups

Share professional or creative skills: fundraising, writing, photography, social media, administration, technology, or AI

Foster cats or kittens when temporary care is needed

Vet techs, veterinary students, vet assistants, and experienced animal-care volunteers are especially welcome

Artemis House is still being built from the ground up. Our systems, spaces, programs, and infrastructure are all works in progress, and we are looking for people who want to help us create them.
We’re looking for volunteers who would like to take responsibility for an ongoing area of the sanctuary and help shape what Artemis House becomes.
Help us turn unfinished spaces into safe, functional areas for the cats. We especially need people with experience in drywall, ceiling repair, painting, carpentry, furniture assembly, fencing, plumbing, and general repairs.
Construction & Facilities
Help identify funding opportunities, campaigns, sponsorships, donor outreach, and grants.
Development & Fundraising
Help tell rescue stories, create content, manage social channels, and grow the Artemis House community.
Communications & Social Media
Help with medical-care routines, supplies, monitoring, recovery support, and other appropriate animal-care tasks.
Veterinary Technician / Animal Care Support
Help us explore practical uses of AI, health-monitoring tools, automation, and digital systems to improve animal care and sanctuary operations.
AI & Innovation
Help welcome, organize, and communicate with volunteers and community partners.
