Zarrin & Lusin
Zarrin and Lusin were brought to us after reports that the kittens were being poisoned by a neighbor. Their mother, Anush, joined them soon after. Once frightened and feral, all three are now safe and thriving.

Rescued on May 2026
Zarrin and Lusin came to Artemis House because two local cat caretakers were frightened for their safety.
They contacted us after neighbors reported that someone in the area was poisoning the kittens. The two young cats were also frightened and feral, making ordinary adoption difficult. What they needed immediately was somewhere they could simply be safe.
So they came to Artemis House.
Not long afterward, we were able to bring their mother, Anush, to the sanctuary as well, reuniting the little family in a protected environment.
At first, Zarrin and Lusin were wary of people and unsure of their surroundings. There was no expectation that they had to become tame on a schedule or behave like adoptable house kittens. They were given food, shelter, space, and time. We started building trust.
And they settled in.
Today Zarrin, Lusin, and Anush are safe together at Artemis House. The frightened kittens who arrived because someone feared they would not survive in their neighborhood are now healthy and thriving in the sanctuary.
